Prepare files before merging

Rename files so their intended order is obvious and open each source PDF to confirm it is complete. Remove duplicate pages before combining large document sets. The browser file picker normally preserves selection order, but you should still compare the displayed list with the sequence required in the final document.

What local PDF processing means

Selected files are read by the PDF library in your browser and are not uploaded to this website. Processing time and memory use depend on the number of pages, embedded fonts, forms, and high-resolution images. Keep this tab open until the combined file has been created and downloaded.

Limits and final checks

Encrypted, damaged, or unusually structured PDFs may not open. Remove password protection only when you are authorized to do so, then try again. After merging, inspect the first and last page of every source section, verify page orientation, links, form fields, and signatures, and keep the originals until the combined copy has been reviewed.
